AMRG is led by an Executive team with more than 100 years of combined air medical experience:
Joseph L. Hunt – President
Joseph Hunt studied at the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah, and has been presiding over air medical companies for nearly 20 years.
Mr. Hunt’s air medical career began in 1997 with Eagle Air Med, operating in Arizona, Nevada and Utah. Under his leadership, operations successfully expanded to Hawaii in 2006 with the purchase of Hawaii Air Ambulance, and then Alaska in 2008 with the purchase of Guardian Flight.
Joshua Betof – Vice President of Aviation Operations
Joshua Betof began his aviation career nearly 20 years ago and has been a part of the AMRG team since 2005. He has earned advanced FAA flight and ground instructor certifications as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Business Management. Joshua is a certified Airline Transport Pilot and has served as an FAA Part 135 air-ambulance pilot, check airman, instructor pilot and Director of Operations.
Zandra Anderson – Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Zandra is the Chief Financial Officer for AMRG. Prior to joining AMRG, she served as a Chief Financial Officer at HCA Healthcare for more than 15 years.
She has strong qualifications in developing and implementing financial controls and processes in addition to productivity improvements, and change management. Zandra holds a B.A. with honors in Accounting from Saint Martin’s College.
Shanon Pollock – Vice President of Business Development
Shanon has eight years of air medical experience focused on marketing, business development, public relations, customer service and program management.
He began his career with Air Medical Resource Group just as the corporation entered its aggressive growth period and has served in the organization as Manager of Business Development, Director of Business Development, Program Director and now as the Vice President of Business Development. He earned a bachelors degree in Marketing from Southern Utah University and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wyoming.
Chris Webb – Vice President, Chief Contracting Officer
Chris Webb manages company contracts, handles legal matters, and works in the development of needed facilities for AMRG. Prior to joining AMRG Chris worked 16 years in government management, airport management, contracts and compliance and served as a City Manager in Utah.
His background also includes 11 years in commercial real estate development, leasing, and asset management. Chris holds a BS in Business Finance from Brigham Young University and an Honorary Doctorate from Utah State University/Eastern.
Ben Dorman – Vice President, Chief Operating Officer
Ben Dorman manages all medical operations for AMRG. He has been a nurse for 17 years with extensive experience in critical care as well as air medicine. His resume includes ICU, ER, Director of ER and Cardiac Rehab, and 8 years in air medicine including both fixed wing and rotor wing alike.
He started and ran his own successful air ambulance company that was acquired by ARMG in 2013. Ben leads AMRG with a focus on being a medical based company in an aviation-dominated industry.
Laurel Almstedt – Vice President of Human Resources
Laurel Almstedt joined AMRG in 2015 as the Vice President of Human Resources. Laurel has more than 20 years’ experience in the Human Resources field, including expertise in recruiting, compensation and payroll, benefits and employee relations. Prior to AMRG, Laurel held various senior leadership positions including SVP/CHRO of W.J. Bradley, LLC and Human Resources Director, North America for Royal Philips Electronics, honored by Philips as an international Top Potential. Laurel holds an MPA with honors from Brigham Young University (1995), and is SPHR and SHRM-CP certified. In addition to her work at AMRG, Laurel serves on the Advisory Board of Brigham Young University’s Romney Institute and the Business Advisory Board of LDS Business College.
